Winter Is A Time Of Peace and Love

Winter is a time of peace and love.

Though this season is sometimes scary,

Fighting and hatred make it scarier,

And wake up Mother Nature.

Mother Nature is keeping us warm with the snow,

So we must keep her warm with our kindness and love…

And make the world peaceful, so we don’t wake Her ‘til Spring.

Notes On “My Father Is Nothing Like Henry VIII”

This is actually a poem, and when I wrote it (which was long before I wrote my ABC book) I intended to publish it as such.  After some consideration, though, I thought it might be a good manuscript for a children’s picture book.  If anyone knows how and where I can submit it to be published either on its own or as part of an anthology/collection of children’s poetry, please let me know.  Thanks! 🙂

Notes On “Princess Abigail’s Journey To Z-Land”

Here is “Princess Abigail’s Journey To Z-Land,” my first conscious attempt at writing a children’s picture book manuscript.  It is an ABC book that follows a little princess’ journey through the alphabet as she makes her way off to bed.  If you know of any agent/publisher who may be interested in this book, please let me know.
